TAPE MEASURE WANTED!

This SAL project was meant to be finished long ago0OOO... Well, the only piece I didn't finish these last days is the tape measure because I didn't find a proper tape measure as required in the instructions. The piece of fabric is stitched though...
I managed to sew the purse even if the sewing instructions can be very confusing...:-(

Ce projet de SAL devait être fini il y a bien longtemps... Et bien, la seule chose que je n'ai pas fini est le mètre ruban car je n'en ai pas trouvé aux dimensions requises. Même si le tissu pour est brodé...
J'ai réussi à coudre la bourse , même si les instructions pour cet étape manquent de clarté...:-(

No scrappy pics but some scrappy progress

BAD NEWS: I've run out of the hand dyed threads I used for the previous pieces. I managed to find some DMC threads... They 're not as bad as they seem to be in this picture.

MAUVAISE NOUVELLE: je suis à court des 2 fils teints à la main que j'ai utilisé pour les parties précédentes. J'ai pu trouver des fils DMC...Rassurez-vous, ils ne sont pas aussi nazes qu'ils en ont l'air.

Pin cushion done

I'm grumpy...
I'm not satisfied with the pin cushion... It seems I've been quite clumsy while sewing it.
Je suis grognon...car insatisfaite du coussin à aiguilles. De toute évidence, la phase couture (par moua) a été plutôt maladroite.

I tried to take better pics of the 2 finished items but it wasn't easy. As for the finishing, I was quite nervous before starting but then it seemed to go surprisingly smooth!

I aim to finish another item tonight. So, watch out!

J'ai essayé de prendre de meilleures photos des 2 objets finis mais ce ne fut pas simple. En ce qui concerne la 'finition', j'étais assez inquiète avant de commencer mais ensuite tout s'est passé sans accroc! Mon objectif est d'avoir fini un autre objet ce soir. Attention!

UNDER WAY: Souris & Pochette à aiguilles

I haven't followed the colour intstructions. I wanted an old fashioned style. I had thought I'd use some pink and green threads but the pink one was not dark enough. It almost looked like a white thread on the fabric .

I'm not satisfied with the needle and thread stitching, I may undo it soon...

I've chosen the fabrics and threads for the SAL Bourse aux Merveilles Napo's organising for us! Right, girls, what do you think of my choice???
