This is a post from the lady with sunglasses

Hi, everyone!

I haven't been updating my blog for a while ...Why?
First, it was a medical prescription. On 20th April, I was operated on my 2 shortsighted eyes.
It really is a change. I wore glasses for almost 15 years but I was weary of it. My relatives also need to get used to it!
For the first 2 days I had to wear my sunglasses indoors and outdoors!
I want to say thank you to all the persons who sent me messages and called me. Though it is a minor operation, your support was very comforting. THANKS TO Aline , my beloved cousin, who was my personal nurse :-)

Things are getting back to normal. Yesterday, I stitched for the Bourse aux Merveilles SAL. I'm late , I know. I'll do my best to catch up for lost time.

I'm quite ashamed of my progress concerning Les Grilles de Maryse SAL. I'm 2 months late!

I've been stitching a little piece for Eugénie, a new born baby girl. I can't show it to you because my camera's left on a holiday...with my Aline! :-)

I also got back to knitting. Big needles are much easier to handle when you have to do it with sunglasses! But it's not very impressive. In fact, the wool I bought is not pleasant to knit...

I must say, that like most people, sunny and warm weather makes me feel good. I've been feeling better these 2 last weeks.

We've had good news amongst which I've been selected for a two week training in Dublin this summer. I'm very excited. M.D Junior and I are planning to spend a weekend together during the training.

That's all for now! I'll be posting pics of my projects this weekend.

Too much blogging may be bad for your health :-)

Hi, everyone!

Here is a pic taken on Saturday: it was Saint Patrick's Day! We've done a great job about it at school and as I didn't want to be pinched, I had to wear green clothing to go to work!

I don't 'blog' as much as I used to... I have so much on my mind...
So, I've made a decision: I'll be blogging once or twice a week.

Anyway, it's probably better that way. My petty prattle will certainly gain substance (I do have the feeling my prattle's not that interesting most of the time...).
